Hello Horrorhounds,
I'm not sure if people are actually reading this blog. But if you do, I'd say thank you for that. I started this foodbedandblood.com with the intention of starting out as a more website styled online horror magazine, focusing on horror newbies, trailers, poster artwork and rants on dvd releases.
However to keep something like that up to date, is just something I can't manage myself and since the start of this website on Halloween last year I have definitely been thinking alot on how to redirect the content, to focus on the things I love about horror and everything that has something to do with it. So do expect some changes to be made in the couple of weeks, writing and lay out wise.
Again..I would love to turn this thing into a solid slick looking online horror magazine/website, but for that you need more people, writers and editors. So for now I'm turning my cheeks towards that idea and I'm going to redirect this into a more personalized blog, just the way I like to read them out there. Inspired by friday evening sessions on blanking out in a comfortable couch with some damn fine good food and a stack of dvd's. Hell yeah. So as I said before, expect some major changes and some more efforts on editing my writings, scheduling frequent blogging moments.
As far as the blogging horror community is going right now. It is still growing and I do have my favorite bloggers up there which I try to check out on a daily basis. It's fun to read people's writings and thoughts on horror movies, sometimes you do feel familiar with some of them and it does.
On a sidenote I wanted to point out on how much of my favorite horror blogs currently are run by women. Final Girl, Day Of The Woman, Cheap Dollar Bin Whore, The Dead Girl,... all of them rule hard. And they offer some of the best blogs currently run in the horror community. So yeah, support that stuff.
Bloody Disgusting is currently throwing a bloody contest by awarding some of the best blogs. So if you're happen to be new to this blogging horror community, it's a worthy list to start discovering some of the best horror blogs out there. Or even start your own goddamn blog.
2010 looks promising for horror hounds and I'm sure it will be a year filled with a shitload of new stuff to check out and enjoy out of a couch stuffed with some pizza and coke.
